Client work
When we map a client’s systems, the information we gather is held in 8090 Software Factory®, a third-party tool we use. It’s also held in our own business email and file storage. A separate agreement with each client covers that work, including where data is held and who can access it.
Who we share it with
We share it only with the services we need to run the business: Framer (website hosting), our email and file storage providers, and 8090 Software Factory® for client work. Some of these may process data outside the UK, and where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
• Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 2 years.
• Client records: as long as the law requires, usually 6 years after our work ends.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. Email sai@softwareforest.co.uk. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
